Capitol Records commmissioned this mic as an all-pupose omnidirectional mic. This a prototype. Capsule and electronics very similar to AKG C12, though not as bright. Integral shockmount looks retarded but works well. Power supply is tube rectified unit made by Capps, but is not interchangeable with Capps unit.
