Omnidirectional dynamic mic. Can be used where a close mic is necessary on a loud source (guitar cabinet for example) but where pattern-induced proximity effect needs to be avoided. Can also be useful as an ambient mic where wide frequency response and fine detail are not needed. Okay, it's a dumb-sounding dynamic mic that has occasional uses.
