I like the new album. I like Liars. I like how every album is very different from the last but they all sound like Liars. Maybe I've written that before.
Unfortunately, neither of my local record stores has a copy of the new LP.

back in college, he had an incredible band called Opium Taylor.
they were from Omaha. we set a couple shows up for them in Urbana.
I only found Fade Machine, Fade Magazine and the Sunfoil 7" (link above), but Boy-White City is still my favourite.

If that file's still available, someone should tape it and get the songs off of it.

- We're Still Young Enough To Lay Face Down In Front of The Speakers
- Catchy Like Brains On Gangs
- Just Call Me "You" From Now On
- They Threw Us All In a Trench and Stuck A Monument On Top, the actual song
- Shatzi, Just Because You're Prone To Nosebleeds Doesn't Make You a Vampire (tee-hee)
- New Rochelle
- Start Up
- Oysters
- Pulse of America (which I think is an alternate title for the first song on Trench)

I can't resist pointing out that Opium Taylor were from Lincoln, not Omaha. We have to lay claim to the good ones when we can. Their recordings are here:
