Electrical Audio classes/seminars/teach-ins

Postby garthplinko on Wed Jan 29, 2014 7:12 pm

Just wondered if you guys have ever considered teaching any classes yourselves such as like basic electronics or tape-machine calibration & maintenance. Something along the lines of what Specimen does w/ their guitar/amp building courses.

MIght be a good way to make some extra scratch since a lot of studios aren't doing that well these days.

Wow,

Sorry for not responding to this until now.

I did a tape calibration/listening seminar a few years ago. It went really well, but was more work than I bargained for.
When there's downtime, there is more than enough to do (studio upkeep), so we're not at a loss for activity. Maybe we'll have more of these sort of things in the future?

Put me on the list for that seminar if you ever do it again for sure.

Also, it was really nice meeting you at the BBQ on Friday!
