youve also sold one of the most striking looking and completely unique sounding guitars ever built to this math rock nerd. ive never really understood this sort of negativity/mocking towards newer tb buyers. i was 18 before i'd even heard of them and 19/20 when i got my first one (admittidely for £450 or something) and im 24 now. not everybod heard of these guitars 15 years ago. hey, fair enough its fucking sad if the guy brought it just to look like albini, but those guitars make such awesome and unique sounds that they should and can be used for far more than just 'cool' posturing or albini apeing.

I like the idea of Throbbing Gristle but I've never been able to take Genesis P-Orridge (or Lady Gen Breyer or whatever name is current) seriously for a second. He just seems like a twerp. I have no explanation or rationale for this.

haha! I get the twerpiness angle. I guess I would have to say that what puts me off sometimes is the way that Gen is overly prolific to milk a fanbase. I remember buying a Psychic TV cd maybe ten or 11 years ago and swearing it would be the last I'd ever buy. I thought that he would tape himself on the toilet if he thought it would move several thousand copies. That said, I think the guy lives it. The old TG days, the exile from the UK, the becoming a woman situation with the boobs and Aunt Debbie's boots. He's out of his skull nowadays, I think losing his life partner did him in and he's sought refuge in a garbage bag of drugs for comfort.

Can, going disco was not a good idea, especially when it sounds like Howard the Duck could have done a better job at it with a collection of wrenches and hacksaws.
