I've just realised that most of us have some form of link to a band we're in -if we're in one-... how many of us take the time to have a listen?

ive been lurking here for some time and most every band linked in the sigs here sounds the same. this is neither a bad thing nor is it surprising, given what forum we are in. one noteable one that i liked though had the mp3 name rocket_science.mp3. if this is you, congratulations.

Connor, Lazar Wolf sounds nice. The June 05 demo songs make me happy.

I also checked out some of USS Horsewhip's stuff on their myspace page. This too was very good, or so I thought.

I love playing in my band more than anything, but I still constantly wish that I sounded more like my influences. To me the music we make doesn't even resemble 99% of what I listen to, just the 1% that I barely listen to.....

Jeez, thank you! If only people in my village felt that way.....well, we do get lots of people to shows, but that is just people that we are friends with and the other bands. We aren't the sort of band that people ever just hear playing in a bar and like... only if they have heard us before many times....but I guess that isn't really a bad thing....can't please everyone, nor do I want to...

On a side note, I have listen to several bands on here and I have really liked most that I can remember. USS Horsewhip was great! I hope I can rock when I am a dad....Hmmm, Christopherdragon is cool too....I can't remember the others.

ive been lurking here for some time and most every band linked in the sigs here sounds the same.

i've got some stuff that sounds pretty "different" but it was made a little while ago. will post a link, or upload a track or two to the shared account, if i can find the time. (a lot of you probably wont like it.)

i do listen to peoples tracks, and occasionally visit their websites, though i do this somewhat randomly.

i remember thinking Kahoots was pretty damn good, whoever's band that was (my apollogies). kinda Feelies-like... the Dragonman has some very decent tracks, though i think the high-register stuff on "Golden Beasts" needs some reworking... Wes9 had some really nice Kranky Records-type stuff... there are some others i think, but nothing comes to mind right now.

I jump on thee USS Horsewhip bandwagon... back when I first noticed a link in the SoaP thread, I found myself returning to hear "Cop Cars In The Lettered Streets" again and again, especially while at work... =)

Y'all are making me blush.

I am currently digging Lazar Wolf. Actually, I dig the shit out of this band, and hoping we can play with them in Austin. They have two vocalists listed on their MySpace page, and I can only imagine these songs getting even better with vocals.

I am also excited to play with The Family Ghost, this bill will be an inspired, if mismatched pairing. These shows usually end up being my favorites, though.

I wasn't sure if this counts, but I will say it does because Tall Chris introduced me to the EA forum. His band, Racetrack has been one of my favorites for a couple years now. Great lyrics, and an absolutely fucking peerless rhythm section. Full Disclosure: Chris was a temp bassist with USS Horsewhip for a short period of time, including the infamous "underwear" show. Probably the only band that could have put up with us for an entire tour.

I have seen .22 live, and am happy to say that I enjoyed their live set very much. Those of you on this board who are fans of great guitar tone and exciting drumming most likely already enjoy this band.

Replicator are also very excellent. We have been trying to play a show with these guys for a couple years now, and I am hoping something works out eventually.

I am currently listening to the songs on Unique Chique's MySpace. Early verdict: thumbs up.

There are so many more bands of EA forum members that I need to listen to.
