To celebrate it's birth into the wide world, we're having a party...
and it will be a once in a lifetime event. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW.

REASONS WHY YOU CANNOT MISS THIS SHOW:
1. Our good friends, Adam Faucett and the Tall Grass (http://www.adamfaucett.com/), are coming all the way from Arkansas to give us a piece of his musical fist. This shit is fierce, like watching a bearded volcano that might explode at any minute (taking you with him.) Seriously. It's spellbinding music.

2. The Columbines (http://www.thecolumbines.com/), our other good friends, are also playing. If you live in Chicago and you've never seen the Columbines,YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG. If you knew what was good for you, you'd make this a regular part of your routine.

3. 50 Limited edition 7 inch vinyl records will be available for purchase. These will be "art" versions of the regular release and will include original artwork (by me) based on the songs. These are the only 50 that will ever be made.

4. TREATS!

5. SURPRISES!*

6. It's a Friday. Get rowdy. Bring your cousin, your neighbor, that estranged lover that you still occasionally bang. Drink! Be merry! Make mistakes! What happens at the release show, stays at the release show.

Every member of Bone And Bell is an ace. The two opening bands are great. This show is stupid bang for the buck.

Unfortunately Uncertain Sea had to pull-out of next week's show. I was so saddened by this news that I completely forgot to tell Whales' design mistress. The poster is hand-drawn and I didn't want to complicate matters further, besides, it looks lovely and having the Uncertain Sea's band-name listed is comforting.

Never played at or even been to this venue. Anyone have any experience? According to yelp, sounds like a Polish metal bar, which actually sounds pretty sweet so I'm looking forward to it.

We went there when it was Metal Shaker and we thought it was a great place and the staff were super cool. Col. knows the guy who is now part owner since it was renamed so it should still be cool.

Dang, lots of good shows happenin'.

Yeah, definitely looking forward to checking out Live Wire. I also forgot to mention that any place named after a Mötley Crüe song is A-OK in my book. If anyone names their venue Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go), I am there in a heartbeat.

HEY!

My good friend Jay Gavan's band The Red Sea Pedestrians are playing in Chicago tomorrow, the 28th of April, at Jerry's Sandwich shop. It's on Division. No cover, I think.

This band is pretty great--they split the difference between a great pop/rock band and Eastern European music. I'm shitty at explaining stuff that doesn't sound like rock music. They're great.

Jay's tall and beautiful and a grey-haired wizard. Tell him Ike says hi and he'll remind you he has a bad back.
