Japanese holdouts. Some of the guys hiding on their own in the jungle in Guam weren't found until 1974 and carried on committing guerilla acts like burning crops and actually killing people throughout that time. Some of the guys in Malaysia ended up joining a communist group and carrying on fighting until 1990.

The "stab in the back myth", ie that the German army did not lose WW1 bur was instead betrayed by factions of the civilian populace.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stab-in-the-back_myth

The only sensible way to look at WW1 is that most of the people who got blown up or machine-gunned to death, regardless of which imperialist "side", or post-war agreement, they were all being subjected to a form of employment which was highly unethical and extremely unsafe.

In terms of who did the dodgy deals of the treaty of versailles which has a disastrous effect on the German economy, the payment of reparations in gold... that would be John d rockefeller's top oil-trading lawyer. Protestant anti-communist.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Foster_Dulles

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Article ... Versailles

When WW1 is discussed, oil and the middle east are rarely mentioned.

^haunted houses are prob just the spirits of the native american folks who were living there before your manifest destiny ass moved in hundreds of years later so ghosts should always be welcome guests because they were there first

you gotta learn to live with other people

Don't think I haven't considered haunting a few places using special effects while being very much alive & well.

Some have called the use of magic tricks and/or smoke & mirrors "psychological warfare".

Although there has been much examination by numerous experts and thinkers as to the mechanisms of the phenomenon, a consensus of opinion has yet to be reached. The author Junichiro Uemae has commented that at first glance there appears to be no common thread, in a manner akin to the hypothetical concept of "the flap of a butterfly's wings in Brazil setting off a tornado in Texas.

Of course there is a common thread. Everybody who reports experiencing this syndrome is Japanese! Sounds like yet another self-perpetuating cultural myth.

^it sounds like elf from the movie elf

i think if i got the chance to travel thousands of years into the future and i saw people still celebrating christmas that would make me really happy.. cause its only been around a couple hundred years so if they kept it going and people are still doing it, even with the santa lie i think thats a pretty good indicator of a non-bleak future.

#prochristmas

ps christmas is for everybody just like commercials and condoms are for everybody

ps again, it would be cool if prosocial behavior could replace survival of the fittest so society could move away from competition, although we totally prob still need it.. but within reason like, only enough competition so we have enough motivation to keep advancing science and technology and culture

Not a Wikipedia page, not even a page, but It would be certainly helpful in 'terminally bored at work' scenarios. Click somewhere on the globe and listen to live radio streams from this location. As imple as it gets, cool as fuck.
