The (scientifically accurate) rap.

DUMB PEOPLE SUCK

i am just 12 yrs .. i dont wanna die ..!! this idiot orsen and all those ppl who think mr cox right .. gimme a break .... some1 was saying we will get to no abt the age of year n blah blah .. ull get to no it but only if u survive ... cmmon .. there are more chances of ths operation to fail ...thats wt most of the scientists out of 10,000 are sayin ... why the helll r thes 1000o scientists wanna destroy 10000000000000 ppl other scientists who r for this they are not idits or tw-- as this bloody mr cox called us ... but only for nowin the universes age they cannot but r lives in danger ... if u wanna do this go to mars n do this shit ... there or wherever but not here ...newton said "science will destroy earth this statements starting taking shape "

There has been smaller version`s built.
The first one was free standing and when plugged in there was a blue light surrounding it. After a few seconds it
was self powering and took off into space. The second was built in two ton
of concrete and that took off.
Thats why the Scientists built the LHC
so deep underground.
What concerns me that it might cause Earth Quake`s or
Volcano Eruption`s.
If it does not
create a Black Hole it might cause the other two.
So who will pay for the lose of life and damage.?
The Scientists
do not know what is going to happen.
They say it can be turn off but it might self power.
NO good saying sorry.?????

The creation of a black hole in Switzerland this week may solve two of mankinds biggest challenges - Overpopulation and Global Warming, but not the way we were hoping for!!
The quest for knowledge is a noble cause, but when the methods risk the planet & 6 billion lives then it is time to say NO. The scientists who say it is safe are only expressing their opinions. They do not have enough evidence to make these claims. Black holes are really scary even when they are hundreds of light years away. To deliberately make them on earth without having any idea how to control them is sheer insanity.

For anyone in blighty - this was a terrific bit of TV last night and can be viewed again for the next seven days (the amiable Prof. Brian Cox is the same guy as on the Chris Morris CERN podcast – he used to be the keyboard player in terrible 80s poodle rockers Dare before he saw the light)

Absolutely spellbinding.

The senior project scientist at CERN (below) says there's nothing to worry about, and indeed, to sit back and relax.

I don't much care for Chris Morris, but even I enjoyed this one!

Bloody waste of money, this Large Hard-on Collider. If I wanted to see a black hole, I'd just look at any one of Gordon Brown's recent budgets!

Even if it does create a black hole, it'll be full of old fridges and supermarket trolleys within hours.
