It's not just concerts that can get intolerable... the amount of times I've had to tell people stop constantly yakking during shows... It's in the fucking cinema as well. I was at the movies yesterday and had to called down to some dipshit - who looked like he was in his 50s - to put his goddamn phone away. he was playing some puzzle game while the opening scene of fucking Bladerunner 2049 was starting...

People are awful.

My band mates are now talkers. During the sets of other bands on the bill I get questions and comments as they stand next to me.A nod in recognition or short response is what they usually get before I go back to the band. If you are not interested in the band go outside or in the back.

Things can get quite hairy these days at the cinema.

At an experimental electronic music show I had some fun with talkers, hid a bunch of microphones on long leads around the place and played back the talking at considerable volume with delay on it. Eventually an enterprising MC found the one of the mics and joined in, which made for a good show.
