this should be a really solid show... all bands are pretty heavy & worth a listen imo... gonna snag the new burning sons & protestant releases for sure. i assume both were tracked by shane down at howl street...

Riverwest Public House, start playing shows there, Milwaukee folks. Top notch spot, good people, good sound, good beer.

It's funny, because that place used to be Riverwest Commons, and it was a charming dive with shit sound that only had shows there because there was no other place in Riverwest cool enough. That's changed now, thankfully, and we've got the Public House AND Quarters back in Riverwest.

It's so stupid; i'm totally comfortable playing all our Milwaukee shows at Cactus Club in Bayview, but there's a huge swath of kids who will never leave Riverwest to see a show. Or maybe they just never come out to see us. Anyway, Zebras is playing a show at Quarters with SATANIZED on Skin Graft on October. So it'll be fun to see what that place looks like these days. BTW, if any Milwaukee bands on here wanna play that show, hit me up, we need a decent-drawing local.

This Friday, my goddamn band Aluminum Knot Eye is playing with two excellent bands from Florida, Cop City/Chill Pillars and Hungry Gayze. It's at the best smallvenue in town, the Circle A! Should be pretty swell...

Aluminum Knot Eye (a long-persisting ingrown toenail on the foot of Wisconsin underground music... the "house band" of the Circle A!) http://www.facebook.com/aluminumknoteye

Cop City/Chill Pillars (from Lake Worth, FL)

Hungry Gayze (from Orlando, FL)

Both Florida bands come courtesy of the label know as Florida's Dying, who've been responsible for several great releases over the years...
