Fucking ridiculous. Super into it.

Wow. That is a serious temptation right there. Holy shit. That pickup sounds pretty interesting, but a a really good P-90 would definitely take that guitar to next level biz. I think I'd also have an aluminum pickguard cut for it & frame the original.

In my impoverished state, I really don't need any additional desire for guitars this week - the second week with the Veleno loaner... It's like a bad movie plot where the protagonist gets to hang with the most beautiful woman/person for a couple weeks, & then she disappears because she's a ghost or some shit. I am going to be bummed. In a good way, it's also ruining me for other guitars - why buy a guitar unless it's on this level.

Still that Pete Shelley fucker looks both fun & useful.

...

I can accept the quirky features of that guitar. What I can't get past is that the cut line isn't parallel with the neck. Either make it perfectly horizontal or more crooked, not weirdly in between.

Hopefully some weirdo out there will give it a good home.

Mid 60's Silvertone 1448. Plays and sounds great. Short scale. The pickguard is not original but the guitar is in overall good shape with a little paint loss on the headstock. Pots are a little scratchy. I sprayed them, which helped but they aren't perfect. This is a really fun little guitar. $275 plus shipping.

Selling a Marshall 1987 reissue that was FM 154's teenage amplifier. I posted it a little high on CL because, well, hagglers.

PM me for a buddy deal on it. Would really prefer to sell it locally because I'd rather you be able to hear it first and go "YES! That's the sound I want." rather than "oh, I thought it'd sound a little different".

Anyway, here it is: http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/msg/5954807172.html

Had I not just shelled out a handsome sum on a Les Paul I'd be all up in that.

I've got my '73 Les Paul Custom listed up on Reverb for considerably less than what most are listed for.

Looks like I'll probably be re-listing it shortly. A guy who's purchased from me before made what I felt was a reasonable offer so I accepted. He's be total radio silence ever since. Checked his feedback and apparently he's done this at least 4 or 5 times before. If I don't hear back today I'll re-list the guitar.

Just listed my gnarly little '62 Gibson Melody Maker on reverb.com:

SOLD

For extra "street-cred" here's a pic of the guitar sitting in a chair at EA:

And for further shameless self-promotion here is the same guitar in the capable hands of forumite and far better guitarist than I, Andrew B. Cohen:

Fender Stratocaster Deluxe series (MIM). See-thru burgundy red with gold hardware, tortoiseshell guard , 5 position switch with button that turns on the bridge pickup in positions 4 and 5. I don't have the trem bar for this, but it will be shipped in the Road Runner hard case in the pictures. Could probably use a setup, but nothing major. In excellent cosmetic and functional condition. $400+shipping? I'd prefer mostly cash, but will consider partial trade and cash.

Anyone have a clean Traynor TS50B that they might be willing to part with?

Asking for a friend.

That friend is a 1971 Precision bass.
Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead is pureley coincidental. Void where prohibited. Some assembly required. Subject to change without notice. Times approximate. Simulated picture. Driver does not carry cash.

SOLD Paypal'd + actual shipping costs.

https://houston.craigslist.org/msg/6026063912.html

2001 Gibson Les Paul Historic Custom Shop '57 Reissue Goldtop. The neck was re-contoured to a proper 59 contour by 50's LP expert Steve Segal and the binding has been rolled just like the real ones. The neck now has a '59 profile that measures .87 -1.00 from the 1st to 12th frets. Less of a giant U-shape and more of a comfortable full "D". The back of the neck has a nice satin feel and the original serial number and finish remain on the back of the headstock. Stock '57 Classic pickups were swapped for a set of Klein Epic '59s PAFs. Gibson Historic Reissue case. The wiring harness was also upgraded to a Throbak assembly. Guitar has been played and has some very natural wear on the hardware and finish and minor worming on the back. Frets are in great shape with no issues. Weight is 8lbs, 14oz.

Potential trades: '90-93 Gibson Les Paul Classics.
