Every time I've seen Cole's name pop up in recent years, I've assumed this was going to be the news. Truly sad. I honestly can't think of more inspiring people in music than Fred and Toody.

Cole was the line that ran from the original garage rock scene of the 60s through the revival in the late 80s and early 90s.

Also, Fred and Toody had the best ever Soft Focus interview. They were a force so powerful that even Ian Svenonius's affectations couldn't withstand it.

Imagine being in a band and making t-shirts with your band's name, and maybe a little logo. Then imagine getting that logo tattooed on your face.

I don't think anyone on earth could've done that with dignity besides Fred Cole.

Rest in peace.

"Emo" "Rapper" Lil' Peep has passed at the age of 21. May he rest in peace along with the genre of "Emo Rap", something I did not know existed until now.

Lil' Peep music wasn't for me, but he seemed to be a gentle young dude. Poor guy.
