I like these guys.

They remind me of an Australian Sweep The Leg Johnny.

So a record I had a bit to do with FINALLY came out today! The masters of Aus "Drunk Rock", The Green Whistle. Please go on over to https://thegreenwhistle.bandcamp.com/album/classless-chaps and get into it! Mastered by the incredibly talented FMChris " Did I Send the invoice yet" Goosman! Play it loud and drink all the beer!

It's loose, funny and sounds like 5 dudes having a good time.

I'd just like to say, if you ever feel like dipping your toes in to see what's up with current NZ postpunkish etc music, listening to this weekly show could be a good start.

Me too, and I was pretty underwhelmed, but this is the fourth positive mention I've come across in the past fortnight, so I guess I'm off to reëvaluate!

This is the least New Zealand music New Zealand music I have ever seen.

I actually can't tell if it's a bizarre art project or just a terrible rap song...

I was peripherally involved (guest vocals) on this very excellent release from Auckland's DIANA TRIBUTE. I would call it Kraut-Goth. Available on Bandcamp. (There are also some lathe-cut LPs, but shipping is a fortune from here.)
