Whenever this happens, I just increment the numeric part of the password, so now I'll have to use "RUSH2113".

In order to change my password I have to know what it is in the first place and I haven't a clue. Is there a way to reset it without knowing what it is now?

* Log out.

* Try to log back in.

* Click the "I forgot my password link". It will mail you a new password.

While people are recommending password managers, I highly recommend LastPass.

I just started using it, too. It's beautiful.

I don't know what my password is for my current account and when I go to "Change My Password", the email address I know to by associated with this account is rejected. Ergo I can't log in or out to my account on other devices.

Anyone know how to fix this, I can't work it out.

I know this doesn't belong here, but I'm hoping the administrators/moderators can help me.

I cannot send messages. In the FAQ, it says I may not have permission and to contact an administrator. However, I cannot contact an administrator because I can't send direct messages.

Please help - and thanks!

Hey Matthew!

I think the issue should be solved by now. One of the spamguards is to not allow PMs until the first post has been authorized. Should be clear now. Cheers.

Admins, just an advice: if you care about FM passwords, you should enable HTTPS and make it mandatory for the login form.
