here is the bassman- sounded great at practice- w/ the channels jumped and the Ross distortion it was more than loud enough at about 3.

and here is the firebird- just waiting on the pickup, which I should get tomorrow. Sticking w/ my bronze anodized aluminum guard.

That Bassman looks awesome, probably because it's a little beat up. One of those is on my bucket list for sure.

Hemming and hawing about this. I have some WGS speakers sitting on a shelf in my basement. Can barely build a 4x12 for the 100 he wants. Plus Snakelex!

Well, I'm looking for either 1 or 2 Veteran 30 in 16 ohms... I could maybe be talked into the Reaper 50 if they're a pair.

The 3d upgrade from Metric Halo... have been using a ULN-2 for years, and just picked up a dirt cheap legacy 2882. Both are getting the upgrade, and I'll be able to have one at my desk, and the other in the next room for tracking with just a CAT5 cable between them. Looking forward to it...

Six months after my EHX Canyon shit the bed in a way that defeated their maintenance folks, GAK gave me a refund, so I've got these on the way:

GAK even swallowed the £12 difference. Awesome customer service from start to finish, devoting a lot of time to sorting out a problem that was in no way caused by them.

Bill was the foreman at Mosrite in the 60's and then had a long career as a solo builder. His guitars are exceptionally well made. Basically everything about this one looks like Bill built it sometime in the late 70's or 80's. If he didn't, then I bet it was someone who knew his work. It'll be here in a week and I'll find out then.

This guy showed up yesterday. It does not appear to be marked anywhere on it but I'm still 90% sure Bill Gruggett built it. It's clearly custom built and very well made. The pickups are 100% homemade, the neck is fantastic and overall, the construction and feel of the guitar is very much like the Mosrite Brass Rail era guitars that Bill built. The body is the same design as a Gruggett tenor guitar that I have and the neck is basically identical to a Gruggett that I used to own, down to the inlay material, unusually large radius and oversized volute. If Bill didn't build it, then it was clearly made by someone with skills and almost certainly someone who was aware of Bill's work. Even the case is custom made! Woop woop!

Harmonic Dominator. I was on the fence between a used one of that or a Mask Audio One Knob Clang.

I have a fender pa 135 on the way. I will be running my modular through it, so two of the channels will stay stock, but I may try to modify the other two for guitar use. I haven’t decided yet. I need to pick up a speaker for it. Hopefully I can find something decent locally.

I've played a few of these modded for guitar. It's is apparently pretty easy to get these sounding like a twin reverb normal channel. With all those channels you could do a lot. What kind of speaker are you looking at to handle modular duties?

Probably a 15" of some sort. I don't know a lot about PA speakers, just that I don't want one with a plastic case if I can help it.
