I'm tempted to get another one sometime just for additional piece of mind. I got myself an SKB case for my head now so I think I'm gonna mount/store everything in there, which might provide the power supply with a more nurturing environment.

Do you also sell extra knobs, or can you direct me to the knob supplier? I also cracked my volume knob in half the other week. I could have just glued it back together but half of it got left behind on stage, fuck it.

(This all makes me sound like I treat my gear terribly, but I have done a ton of gigs with the Rusty Box over the last couple years and it has held up great)

I just want to say that I got a rusty box two weeks ago and this pedal is amazing.I use it at home with a squier vi through a orange tiny terror combo and it sounds fantastic. I tried it with a crappy Warwick amp and it also sounds very good.

Now I want a four string long scale bass so bad... :smt007 :smt007

It is a magical pedal in that it makes any shitty bass and/or any shitty amp sound serviceable, if not great.

I havent used my rusty box for quite some time and now its not giving out any sound at all.
the lights are working so I think the power supply is fine.
does anyone know a place to fix it, in Germany or at least within European Union?
And if not whats the adress to send it to Milford?
thanks

So I've decided "Fuck carrying heads around, I'm getting a Quilter and a Boxidizer and that's my rig."

Anyone have a Boxidizer they aren't using they'd like to get rid of?

Kind of interested in trying out a Rusty Box again. I had one of the first run units and regretfully sold it. Loved it when I first got it, but It wasn't doing it for me after I switched over from a Precision to a Thunderbird. I think it might work better for me now with my current bass setup (P/J).

I've gone back to the Rusty, after selling mine to FM noise&light when I more or less stopped playing bass in a band.

Rusty of course still sounds awesome. I've finally grown to like the boost function, especially when using the neck pickup on my EGC or Bean.

I'm kind of thinking it could replace the VT Bass/TS-808 pedals I'm using now, since I basically EQ those two together to sound like the Rusty Box/Traynor tone anyway. Plus then I'd have the built in boost function without having to add another pedal to the chain, which I could certainly use. I'd actually really like to borrow one for a day or two from anyone in the Milwaukee or Chicago area who owns one just to A/B and make sure, before committing to buying another.

Just for the record, I contacted Tronographic and they got back to me only some days later. All good.

What is an TS-808 pedal?

Would buy a used Boxidizer if one of you decide to part ways with it.

I'd like to know how this goes. Likewise a Quilter and a Rusty Box for bass. Would save so much ballache.

Hey, oddball question- can I run our Rusty Box with the main out into an amp and the line out into a mixer at the same time? That would really solve a problem for me. I didn't think to test it last night and won't be back in the space for a week.

Should be fine, just watch out for potential ground loops.
