Did you do the interview in English? If so, any chance of posting the English version? I wanna read it, but would have to use some sort of online translator to know what it says, and I have a feeling it would get things a little wrong.

Ho. Lee. Shit. Just heard them for the first time a few months back and I've been playing the hell out of New Plastic Ideas for three days now. I can't believe I missed this band. So, so excellent.

"We Invent You"? That's a hell of a damn track to wake up to, what with the 2 minute intro and all.

Edit: Somehow forgot to mention that I positively fucking adore this track. But yeah, <3.

Total NC

Definitely in the running for best 90s band IMO. The only band I ever saw play with Fugazi where I walked away wondering who was better that night.

Yeah, I have a friend who never got to see Unwound. He missed them in Madison and he had to miss them on September 11th.

Tried a few songs on the guitar and they weren't even close. Granted, this stuff isn't the easiest to decipher, but geez. The only part that sounded right was a reader edited correction and it was for a simple lead part, not chords..

Internet tabs= still crap.

These days, I think you're better off finding some YouTube clips and trying to make it out visually. He's using standard tuning, and guitarists are universally lazy when it comes to left hand ergonomics, so take it from there.

Meh, a lot of them seem alright to me. They're not perfect or anything, but they provide good starting points to work out the rest yourself. Some of the more dissonant chords can be way off though.

Anyone have any idea what Justin Trosper is up to now? I know Vern and Sara are involved in new projects, but the only thing I ever hear about Justin is that he moved to Los Angeles . . . is he doing music?

Unwound went out on the highest fucking note, and sorely I miss this band. One of maybe a handful of bands where I would actually want a reunion to occur.
