Because it's true. Never, not once, have I heard a Motley Crue song.

The first record - self title - is actually ok kinda punk-glam... but if you like ridiculous production and massive... well, everything, Dr Feelgood is about as good as terrible hair metal was ever going to be, it's pretty much the high tide mark before 80s pop-metal was bludgeoned to death by Smells Like Teen Spirit.

Kickstart my Heart and Dr Feelgood are both two of my favourite "party tracks"

Having said all this... they are fucking terrible, but I love 'em

WF for "Live Wire," which is so-so.

But really, the Crue were terrible. I liked them for a couple of years in grade school, but I lost interest by high school and it never returned.

Crap, crap, crap.

I just finished my copy of it last week or so. so great and so awful at the exact same time. kinda lags in the last third except for when Vince Neil and Mel Gibson burn down that bar.

A band with some jewels and many turds. I can't decide which way to vote.

And I read that book. I think they were "making it all up".

this hangs over my computer setup in my studio. my uncle worked on their videos during the 'girls, girls, girls' days - almost got his head burned clean off from pyro, or so he claims... he sent me the autograph, his backstage passes, and a tshirt for my 11th birthday. in 1987. i was the baddest 7th grader in springfield, illinois.

this is the same uncle who, while we were riding the peoplemover at disneyland when i was 5 or 6 years old, told me that i would have a purple mohawk and learn to play guitar like eddie van halen. one out of two ain't bad.

this is the same uncle who was a playgirl centerfold in the late 80s.

uncle rick, you are the coolest uncle ever and you are not crap. motley crue, you are kind of crap and i know you are kind of crap but i'm still going to vote not crap.

The best drummer Motley ever had was Samantha Maloney.

Wrong. This band is not a good band in terms of either their music or their personality. Or their music. Did I mention the bad music and the bad songwriting?

WF of 10 because I've never even come remotely close to listening to any of their records in one sitting.

Crap. Smoking COCK in the Boy's Room. even their first album, always a failsafe "at least" factor for most bands, was shit for it's time and Vince's vocals sounded like the 15-yr-old girls they ended up giving crabs to backstage.

Mick Mars' moustache was kind of cool, he cleared off a place for me to sit down.

Tommy Lee lives on the same plane of enforced self-delusion that OJ Simpson inhabits.

Vince Neil has nice hips for a 50-year-old woman.

Nikki Sixx has a gay name and a gay bass.

CRAPETY CRAPCRAP. Sad that I know "punks" who dig this shit, when those yipped-out rock stars don't give a fuck about the people on the street.

Aaah... it feels good taking a fat anger-shit. Dr Feelgood coming out of my ass.

CRAP.

motley crue is one of the most shit awful bands to have toured the planet.

and in case you were unaware of what a supreme scum bag vince neil is, he was cast to play a scum bag exactly like himself in that unspeakable andrew dice clay vehicle.
