What sort of pie are we talking about here?

Mince and Onion, or Steak and Kidney?

A 'meat' pie. That's all I know. It came up in a discussion here at work, about whether Mido had transferred from Middlesbrough FC because Parmos and London Pizzas weren't enough for him anymore and he needed some Wigan Butties in his life.

Man, you need to break out of the conditioning matrix. A Wigan Butty is a riddle wrapped inside an enigma folded inside a mystery. You have to find the True Path and see things How They Really Are.

DRC - while we're here, could you please investigate the veracity of the 'Wigan Kebab' (three pies on a skewer) and report back.

Mentions of said 'Wigan Kebab' did emerge in my Wigan Butty research, but there are claims that 'Wigan Kebab' is just another term for a Wigan Butty.

Mentioned above: Middlesbrough's 'parmo'.

The PRF already has an excellent appraisal of not just the Parmo, but also the 'London Pizza', from Chapter Two. If you liked the parmo, you'll love the London Pizza.

Alternative naming found for Wigan Butty: 'piewich'.

Apparently the same takeaway will also supply a 'lasagnewich'.

It's a pepperoni slice.

This Parmo appears to be a "Topped Parmo".
