I like this movie alot - although it has its flaws (esp. the bring the kids to Paris thing) it's a fun movie that is enjoyable for simpletons like me to think about. Not crap.

I think this is Christopher Nolan's best movie, maybe Memento can (maybe) give it a run for it's money but as far as Nolan gimmickry goes (anterograde amnesia, man dressed as a giant flying rat, "physics, maaaan") this one's got the best one("dreams, maaan"). Maybe the dreams could've been a bit more far-out instead of just being FPS levels, or maybe that would've been really dumb, I don't know.

I thought Memento was a thousand times better film made with one thousandth-sized budget.

We're in a dream! We can do AMAZING things, look, I bend the world in half! We won't be doing any of this kind of stuff once things get going though, I'm just like showin' ya.

Totally: it went nowhere with what could have potentially been some interesting layering. He just took a Borges idea and made a boring film.

Also, Memento was a drag the second time around. Nolan's best film is The Prestige.

Yeah.. cuz it didn't come out in the 90s! And, it's shitty. I dont remember about half the posts I've made on here so I can't explain myself any better than that right meow. I apologize for that joke. It's this lame joke between me and my friends of declaring albums of any year not in the 90s 'top ten of the 90s'. See. Cuz it's not 90s.. and Inception is crap.. Should have been a bad book instead.

The special edition DVD of Memento gives you the option of watching the film in chronological order. The only thing is that the menu is a bunch of psychiatric tests, and you have to pick the correct answers to access the feature. It's pretty interesting, watching it that way.

I haven't seen Inception since it was in theaters, but I remember enjoying it. I liked the ambiguous ending - some people want a solid resolution to a film, but I find those 'lady or the tiger*' type of endings really interesting.

*it's a famous short story

2/3 through this film. Worst DiCaprio acting I've ever witnessed. Add that teen heartthrob dude in the supporting role and it's double-shite. And the architect lady is a caricature of herself. Ugh I gotta poop
