if it has added flavour it automatically becomes a pop and should be exempted from this poll. if we're talking about proper fizzy waters then a plague on all their bubbles. i'd sooner drink camel piss.

Wrong. Added Flavor does not a pop make.

Soda, or soda pop as my friends in the upper peninsula call it, has to have sugar or taste like it has sugar, and don't knock camel piss until you've tried it...

I would imagine camel piss is very strong and concentrated, with a high dry residue. Probably not too thirst quenching.

Klarbrunn is all over Wisconsin and sort of around other Midwestern states too. It lays waste to Lacroix, certainly.

There was a Dennis the Menace strip where he was blowing bubbles and Walter the Softy was running away from the hard bubbles.

That's how I feel about Perrier: too hard bubbles.

San Pell is lovely but Nestlé.

Badoit used to be my fave, but now is less hardcore salty than it used to be. Also a Danone brand.

I don't know what the best tasting and most ethical fizzy water is anymore. I suspect there will be good options at the Polish Shop.

No flavoured shit for me, thank you.

Safeway's Soleil lime is my go to. Killer price too.

Was hoping Polar would make it to the Northwest for years, and I'm just now starting to see it. I'd drink about a hundred of them when visiting family in PA over the Summer, and they're just as good as I remember.

There's a new player in town: Waterloo

All flavors but plain are fucking awful. They have the same aftertaste as 1980s Bubblicious.

I think there are more La Croix users here that aren't fessing up.

Please, lets be honest in our polls.

Exactly, christopher.

I've fought the urge to drink coconut-scented sunscreen for, oh, 40+ years now.

So really La Croix finally threw dudes like JimmyTH and me a friggin bone!

IMHO, If you smell like coconut, you're contributing to world peace.

I had this recently.

It tastes like tzatziki without the yogurt or garlic.

I'm saving the next can for when I have a food-cart gyro or kofta sandwich.

At one of the airports outside Stockholm. Thought I bought a Swedish still water, but it’s a fizzy fuck. Bonaqua. Serious bubbles, don’t mind it, but I would have been happier with a plain spring water or whatever. Taste is a little extreme for what it is.

I don't think it should be added to the list, but stores stock Poland Spring in the Boston area. To my surprise, we drove past Poland Spring to visit a wildlife sanctuary because our son wanted to see some moose. I don't think we will make a return visit. That region of inland Maine is god and gun county, super economically depressed.

Later, when people look back on this decade, they're probably going to say "wtf was the deal with the 18000 varieties of seltzer".

My wife recently read that Mountain Valley whatever is the healthiest water in America.

I voted Gerolsteiner cuz I like the bubbles and the salinity and it's cheap. I never buy bubbly water anymore unless I plan on making cocktails with it, though.
