I've got a Therapy? CD.

It's got its moments, but I haven't been compelled to put it on any time in the last ten years.

Why? Why? Why?

Must I be reminded of their existence.

The staff weren't giving me the things I needed to do my job effectively and give the kids their money's worth...it wasn't too hard considering the concert was only $5

I have a Therapy? CD that laughs at you when you open it.

The only reason I bought it was because it laughs at you when you open it.

I've never played it.
I played a drum in Tijuana Hercules.

Took me a while to realize that was not a metaphor.

I always wondered how you are supposed to pronounce it. Are you meant to say it like it's a question, or just say it normally and then throw a confused face?

I've always had a prejudice against punctuation bands. Puts me right off Godspeed You! Black Emperor too. What the fuck is with? that one

Wikipedia:
The band took its name from God Speed You! Black Emperor, a 1976 Japanese black-and-white documentary by director Mitsuo Yanagimachi, which follows the exploits of a Japanese biker gang, the Black Emperors.
- "Whatever happened to that album?"
- "I broke it, remember? I threw it against the wall, and it like, shattered."

So, it's Engrish. What's Therapy?'s excuse?

wikipedia wrote:Much has been made over the years of the unusual question mark suffix to the band's name. In early interviews the band said that the name was "really deep" and intended to raise the question "do you need therapy?", but in a 1992 interview guitarist Andy Cairns admitted that it was a chance design when he was working on band's first record sleeve. Working with Letraset transfers, Cairns misaligned the band's name, and used the "?" icon to fill the space to the right. "And then we thought, well maybe we can bluff our way through when people start reading into it."

To think it all could have been avoided if he'd started from the middle.

I randomly remembered this band a few weeks back. They have never broken up, and have 12 albums. This blew my mind. Not enough to listen to those albums, but...

Anyway, they did an acoustic tour recently. I'm certain it was wonderful.
CRAP. I still have the Troublegum cassette I bought in high school.

Gettin' back to their? roots.

wikipedia wrote:The two... agreed to meet for rehearsal in Fyfe's house in Larne with Andy playing a small practice amp and Fyfe playing his kit with brushes.

Also

wikipedia wrote:In the summer they recorded a four track demo tape (Thirty Seconds of Silence) with Andy playing a bass guitar borrowed from Fyfe's classmate Michael McKeegan. Deciding to play live, they recruited McKeegan and played their debut gig

The guy they borrowed the bass off is still in the band 30 years later.

massive fan of the first two lps. after that they were dead to me.

NOT CRAP on the basis of what i've heard and like immensely. not going to study the rest of their oeuvre just to find out what it's like. heard a bit of Nurse and that's why i walked away.

I feel no shame in still being a big fan of this band.

See them live most chances I get though I don't see the pull of the acoustic stuff
