I'm sure they have carte Blanche with regard to budget, but the others seasons were all restrained to some degree that lent itself to a bizarro realism.
I don't like how flashy the digital film stock ( if that's the term) looks.
I wish the whole
Thing looked a bit shittier. Then I might notice the forced writing less.

Seriously, what you guys are talking about? The show is great. Also, I'm pretty sure the older seasons were done on shitty digital and not actual film. I like that the show now looks like it's being made in the 21st century.

I know they were shitty digital. I wish they were again.
It's still very funny and I will watch them all. Just sayin.
Not quite as good.

Now it's a really good sitcom. It used to feel like something more.

I think some of the things that LD gets into are a little too forced so far in this season, and the "Pretteeeh, Pretteeh, Pretteh Good" moment in the premiere was pathetic. Should have been used on something worthy.

But otherwise it's been good, some moments even great ("That motherfucker lived a life") and the Fatwa storyline is promising.

Agreed that it seems a little more forced than before. There's still lots of great stuff though.

"Arrgh, my name is Toppy Johnson and I can't open this damn pickle jar." That was the best moment so far this season.

If they don't use Jeff Garlin to play Harvey Weinstein in the movie, they missed the boat.

Fatwa boys was much better. It's starting to resemble what I loved ,again.

It's really weird to me that people don't like this season. It's so cringeworthy and uncomfortable, it's so great. The latest episode was very Seinfeldian, including some nods to some Seinfeld ideas (the funeral hello).

After being critical of the first couple of episodes, I'm thrilled to be able to say, 'Curb is back!!!' These last 2 shows have been very funny.

Yeah, it's been really good the last few episodes. The callback to the Sophia Loren erection thing all the way back in Season 1 was great.

Funkhauser going off about how horrible the water at his girlfriend's place is was so great I found myself pumping my fist in delight while laughing at it.

Funkhauser is the show 'MVP' for me. Where did he come from from?

SUPER DAVE!

He's Albert Brooks' brother.

The death of their father is one of the most bonkers stories I've ever read about. Truly nuts.

Yeah, Bob Einstein is awesome. Check out the Norm Macdonald Live episode with him, the first one I believe. It's one of the funniest things ever.

due to house arrest here on the North West Pitcairns coupled with being a raging mental I had somehow never seen an episode of this show. Watched e1 s1 last night, woah, I am now going to march down that hill and boof each and every episode up the arse at a leisurely pace and in sequential order. Thanx cuntz.
