Ticket secured for Chicago, but my friend missed out. They're his favorite band, and his birthday is next month, it's too serendipitous to pass up.

If anyone ends up being unable to make it, I'll happily pay over face for it - wouldn't have to make the drive solo!
Kerouacian as fuck.

For 45 seconds you are the singer of the Jesus Lizard waiting to sing. It made my heart skip.

I just saw it on Facebook. Verrrry cool.

Holy fuck I love the Internet.

I watched this like probably 20 times in a row last night. Wife all yelling at me to stop it.

Can't fucking wait for December.

Yeah, I was pretty excited to begin with, but that video got me stoked. I've amassed so many boners (one giant one and/or a bunch of little tiny ones).

Really took me by surprise (the tour, the boners), what with Yow's acting and stuff. I didn't expect this to happen any time soon or even again, really.

I can't look at this thread anymore. If they don't come to Europe (anywhere in Europe, please), I'll turn into a wandering mendicant monk and traverse the world barefoot and silent.

Who’s all going to see them in Houston? Might post a Day For Night meetup thread in General Discussion

There's still a Groupon available:

Thanks, Intern_8033!

Also confirmed with my friend that not only are The Jesus Lizard playing the same day as En Vouge, but the same stage even!

For those of you that are like me when it comes to festivals ("Fuck that, I'll pass"), Day For Night is really quite tolerable. Don't miss out just because you hate people.

And yeah, any PRFers in town that weekend, hit me up.

David Yow was last seen crowdsurfing down Clark St. and into John Barleycorn.

The Culture Creature podcast's recent interview with David Yow is good stuff, and the interview with Duane is really great, especially.

Nice! Thanks for this. I especially liked how they talked about when Gerard Depardieu fronted them in '94

Depardieu was never a very agile crowd surfer. His ball work less intense.

Oh, so Dead Rider are supporting the Jesus Lizard a mere 4000 miles away, are they?
