Quite digital, isn't it?

But BS were futuristic group so I can get over it easier than with pastoral pop of Bats' Law of Things. Both albums were recorded roughly in the same time by same people - Writhe Studios/Roughan/McLachlan. I didn't care so much about the aspect of recording when I was younger but I clearly remember being bummed about bizarre sounding Bats.

Month ago I sold few of my Tall Dwarfs CDs and decided to listen to other NZ stuff I have at home including Thermos.

Fish Eye is still exciting.

I suggest you see them live before making that judgment.

These guys are playing here on Saturday.

I'm willing to take the risk.

I've got a ticket for the show, and a ticket for the bus. Completely psyched for this.

If you missed this show, you missed out.

But don't feel bad, because the Bowery was only at like 1/5 capacity. So lots of people missed out.

Yeah! It was a stupid shame... Only maybe 100+ people there.

It was fun hanging with burun, nathan. and a newcopcar.

You all should be ashamed of yourselves...

Bailterspace were fucking brilliant. It's good to have them back.

Did they?! The played MOSTLY older stuff.

They played a coupla songs each from Robot World, Vortura and Wammo. They didn't play much from Tanker or Thermos... They played one or two songs that I recognized from the Turnbuckle records and maybe a new song or three.

I was surprised that they played EIP, which was AMAZING. I only wish they played X and Fish Eye... which Alister said they will play next time.

I guess they are starting to play again. This is good news.

I think maybe they didn't play a lot from Tanker or Thermos because of the new bassist - who was good, but not John.

That thing sounded awesome! I'm pretty sure that's what was making the "Chunk" sounds.
