Fugazi, but it´s not really fair, I know all of their records and have seen them live twice, while I only know about one fifth of The Ex´s discography at best, and have never been to a concert.

both bands make an effort to come to dublin which is cool. seen them both a good few times here. but the best had to have been fugazi, the ex and shellac in chicago maybe five or six years ago. five dollars and worth every penny!! overall i'd have to say fugazi pip the ex. both great bands though.

Fugazi.

The Ex are fantastic in every way, but we're talking about Fugazi here.

Bearing in mind that both are exceptionally creative bands that have made tremendous contributions to the rock world, I'd have to say:

The Ex. More diverse and expansive musical legacy, pushed the boundaries of rock to greater lengths, and have one of the most inventive rock drummers there is.

Do I even have to say it?

It's because we're talking about Fugazi that I'm voting for The Ex.

The Ex, hands down.
Their songs are more interesting.
Fugazi is good, but not ha-ha good.

Before seeing the Getatchew shows over the weekend, I might have said Fugazi. Now I might have to think about it.

I'm sure if The Ex ever does break up, they'll at least not be coy about it.

The Ex are a much, much better band than fugazi. Breadth, depth, up, down, sideways, around. They are just much, much better. The only reason any of you are voting for fugazi, i imagine is because you haven't heard enough of the ex. That's the most condescending statement I've ever written on this board but I have to write it because there is just no contest in my mind in regards to this question - it's the ex all the way.

I've actually written a listener's guide to the ex, PM me if you want it.

fugazi voters spew ignorant lies.
