Hey!

I'd rather listen to Bryan Adams than Ryan Adams.

You?

Agreed. Ryan Adams is a pretentious little fuck. I read somewhere that he was quoted as saying something like "Big Star makes me want to fuck someone or kill myself."

I hope someday he takes the latter option.

Both of these "artists" are fucking dire, but I don't suspect that Ryan Adams will ever release a single as infectious as "Cuts Like a Knife," so the Canuck wins.

I'd rather gouge my eardrums out than listen to Ryan Adams, so Bryan wins by default.

So infectious I didn't realize it was in my head until just now.

"Run to You."

"Summer of '69."

The lesser of two evils award goes to Bryan. By a kilometer.

I offer up "The End", all of Heartbreaker and all of Disc 2 of Cold Roses in Ryan's defense.

"The End" couldn't come soon enough for Ryan Adams.

Bryan Adams. Although that, "Have you ever really loved a woman" song makes me want to puke blood.

woah, Bryan wins by 8:1. i didn't saw that one coming.
but yeaj, bryan. i feel that the world wouldn't be complete without him, and his songs, she are good for the laugh. while ryan is simply annoying.

i'd totally go to a ryan's gig and yell "summer of '69".

I like Ryan, he's done a lot of crap but he's done some great stuff too. He has skills with the guitar and writing songs, even terrible songs like wonder wall. He's a bit pretentious and all but he knows how to keep things interesting.

Bryan Adams is just a twat.

I voted ryan, but as I read some of these posts, I think I may have voted foolishly.

Early bryan is pretty good. in the vein of springsteen, mellancamp... mid 80s semi anti-reagan americana.

but maybe I'm wrong?

the ex-girlfriend introduced me to the music of ryan adams. I don't hate it. seems okay.

I think ryan was on letterman the other day. he called him "bryan adams."

Ryan Adams had a record called Rock and Roll, which did neither. Fuck him.

"Summer Of '69" totally rocks and Bryan doesn't feel the need to make a big deal out of it.

Man this is a tough one. Do I vote for the man the emo kids flock to so that people stop calling them emo and start calling them "alt country" or do I vote for the man who wrote a record called Waking Up The Neighbors only to register a noise complaint against his neighbors later in life?

Fuck it, the Canadian gets my vote, if only for the fact that So Far So Good was the cd my parents got for free with the CD player they got me in middle school.
