By the way, I went to target to get an ice scraper on my break and I picked up Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction, Casino and Death Proof for 7 bucks each.
Not bad at all, all special editions with the extras except Goodfellas which is one disc.
I'll probably give my dad the Goodfellas and Casino for Christmas. I may have to go back and get my own copies.

It's real close for me, but I have to go Goodfellas.
Maybe the best movie ever made all around as far as I'm concerned.

Goodfellas. The whole sequence when Henry is paranoid, the music, the editing, fucking everything is perfect. Scorsese man, all the way.

Goodfellas. The translation of the material to the screen is incredible. The sense that you are watching mob life through Henry's eyes is maintained all the way through it. I rarely like voice-overs in films, but Henry's voice-over in Goodfellas pulls the whole film together.

This is unfair. They're both almost perfect movies but they exist in completely different universes. The fact that on paper both are about gangsters is meaningless.

OK, in my mind Goodfellas is clearly the better film. I enjoy Pulp Fiction more and on that basis it gets my vote. It's lighter on its feet and Tarantino's affection for his characters pays off so, so well.

Goodfellas, no contest. It's like a perfect movie. Definitely a perfect Scorcese movie.

Just because you can see either of these movies on TV pretty much any time of the day, doesn't mean they're just as good as each other.

Goodfellas.

"The Bonnie Situation" is the deal breaker. Having Sam Jackson and Harvey Keitel in the same scene doesn't override the fact that Quentin Tarantino can't act.

Oak is good.
Dorks.

Also, having some pussy that's completely unlikable (as well as horribly acted) doesn't really ratchet up the drama of his black wife coming home. Fuck him.

I agree Tarantino can't act his way out of a paper bag, but I like the way he delivers that one line (which is actually "Oak's nice").

Tarantino is fine in it.
Who was supposed to play that role? Someone else was but they got sick or something and he did it at the last minute, I forget who it was.

It is easy.

Pulp Fiction is a good movie, but Goodfellas is essentially perfect.

I am confused as to why you would post in the first place then.

Why not just vote and leave it at that?

Pulp Fiction is the most over-rated film of my life.

Goodfellas by the width of a migthy universe.
