I searched for it, couldn't see it, so I posted it. I'm assuming I've made a mistake.

Come on man, how could anyone vote crap for this band? They did have their ups and downs, but theyre the original stoner metal band. I really respect and love that.

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is one of my favourite tunes ever.

Utterly not crap, even some of the RJD output. The gods of the dark riff.

The first two albums with Dio were great!
I saw the original line-up perform back in 2001 and it was great. Also got to watch them soundcheck and stuff. I have some funny photos of me with this band but I buried them after Ozzy became an MTV stooge. The antics of the Osbourne family have ruined this band for me, possibly for life. Between the ages of 15-18 I thought they were amazing though.

NOT CRAP gigantic waffles for all the shit albums.

Every Ozzy Sabbath album is pretty solid. Even Technical Ecstasy and Never Say Die. The two Dios I have come to appreciate over time and who can argue against "Trashed" from Born Again. After that, they simply do not exist.

NOT CRAP. Sabbath has released many great influential records. They gave birth to the 'Epic Riff'. They fucking rock.

However, I'm not a fan of the Dio days.

Unfortunately, some of the overplayed songs I can barely stand to listen to anymore... but then I started listening heavily to the 'Paranoid' album about 30 years ago (yes, when I was 5), so that's just how it goes...

These days, I would reach for 'Sabotage' above all else...

But then there are the other days when I could just listen to 'A National Acrobat' on repeat OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. If I cut a little slack for the lyrics, I'd have to call that one "the perfect Black Sabbath song".

I couldn't believe how long it took to finally get proper re-issues of the first six or so albums on CD - but at least it happened in our lifetimes - don't deny yourselves the (possibly guilty) pleasure.

regarding the dio years... whatever you think of dio, there's no doubt that some of iommi's best solos were on those songs... some of his really good riffs as well but not quite his best riffs

ozzy is in top form on this one, as is iommi, well actually every member of the band is great on that song...

First album is the shit.

The heavy psychedelic blues album to end all heavy blues albums. Zeppelin was great, but cmon, the closest they came to a straight-up heavy psychedelic blues album was the debut and that ain't the best zep album by a long chalk.

the mood. the songs. the playing. especially the singing. Ozzy's lower voice on this album is how I think he should have sounded all the time.

just magical.
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.

In the someday, what's that sound.

i'd say sabbath, blue cheer, mountain, and the hendrix experience all made better heavy psychedelic blues albums than zep... zep however did at least exceed cream...

pretty much everyone exceeded cream. can you say da-ted.

hell, that one electric intro riff after the acoustic intro on "sleeping village" alone crushes everything cream ever did.

i noticed in a preview to the Iron Man movie they use Sabbath's Iron Man...

i'm not sure how i feel about that...

on one hand it's appropriate and on the other it's completely gauche...
