Circle X had a sense of humor?

Sort of. Copious amounts of narcotics and alcohol often made it more obvious. I once saw them turn Rik Letendre's repeated yelling of the phrase "son of a bitch!, son of a bitch!, son of a bitch!" into an ultra-loud tape loop, which they let rip during their set. Overall, Rik is a pretty hilarious guy.

I wish the members of Circle X would someday stumble upon my Circle X fanpage on Facebook. As far as I know it's the only one in existence.

Lois Dilivio did join and has promised scans, however, so that's something.

I guess this ought to be moved to the Circle X topic round these parts... don't mean to derail from End Result any further.

Forgot about that... with that delivery it doesn't sound too funny, though.

I have been considering doing a Circle X song for the next PRF BBQ Karaoke.

(Would also be willing to supply guitar for any renditions too... *whistles innocently*)

Heh. Rik and Tony barely check email, much less flutter around on FaceBook. I'll pass along the message the next time I see one of them, though. They will probably appreciate your efforts and enthusiasm. They're often amazed that anyone A.) remembers Circle X or B.) found out after the fact.

We now return you to End Result.

Oh wow, End Result reissue ... never thought I'd hear those words.

Speaking of funny, how about "Shock Theater"? "I gotta find a way! I gotta find a way to fill the glory hole!" That song is terrifying and hilarious. They straddled the line between funny and scary like few others.

It has been requested of me that I re-post the Ward EP, as the sendspace link expired. So, here you go. There are 11 songs here - they all say they from the Ward EP, but the last three are not. "Slash" and "Children Die In Pain" are on the Master Tape Vol. II comp, and "They Love War" is on the You Weren't There soundtrack, originally from a cassette entitled "The 7 Year Locust Returns".

Enjoy, again!
My name is Mike, and I play music in Stripper Deville.

Just a bump to see if there's any chance you might be willing to re-up the Ward EP, dregs? been combing the internet relentlessly for this band's stuff and this is the closest I could find. Would really appreciate it!
