That was great. I really hope this means we're getting another Neil Young & Crazy Horse LP and/or tour soon.

Me too. From what Ive read it looks like they have at least one album finished and are working on a second. One might be old Americana songs, theres lyric sheets for "Clemintine", "This Land", motherfuckering "Gallows Pole" in that video.

They still sound great.

This is great. Sounds better than anything since Sleeps with Angels. The vocals on "Cortez" are BLOWN OUT. I love this.

Singing sounds better than ever.

Man, sometimes I go a few months without hearing Neil, and then I hear something like this, and it reminds me how completely his shit is imprinted on me. I actually owe him.

It's hard for me to describe how perfect this is, that Neil is blowing this shit out now, with Crazy Horse, and letting us hear it straight from the tap. Perfect.

Neil Young walked past me a few months back. People were waiting outside my workplace and in front of his awesome-ass, all riveted, metal Streamline-type bus. Pretty small bus. Anyway, as he walks through the stage door with another dude, he says, "What did that guy say?" (presumably referring to a queued-up fan) Dude he's walking with says, "I think he said, 'How's Betsy?'"

Neil Young, amused, says, "Who the fuck is Betsy?"

That's my Neil Young story. Thank you.

Oh yeah. I snuck in and caught the last twenty minutes of the show. It was in a concert hall and it sounded incredible. He stalked about the stage, picking up, or sitting down at various instruments. Little combo amps. Just a crazy, fucked-up sound.

This is the fact that kid of astounds me, since he's been so controlling of his archive in the past, etc. that I never thought he'd allow this sort of access to the creative process.

Not to say that this might not have been discussed/considered before putting it out there, but at least it's been possibly months at the most, not years or decades.
I make this music.
I also make pictures that you can buy. Feel free to look at my records for sale.

Listening to it now, just about done with it.

Sounds great.

I like it when there's a long build-up before the vocals come in.

I love these 38 Minutes!

I think only this band is able to pull something like that of without sounding boring or really bad. Probably because they invented it.

As much as I look forward to the albums I look forward to seeing NY with the Horse even more. I imagine that if they've got two albums in the works then we could reasonably expect a tour, and if we can expect a tour then I hope that they play somewhere near Texas. Which is to say, I hope that play somewhere in Texas--- probably have quite a drive in front of me either way.

My wife and I already decided we're gonna do whatever we can to see at least two shows if NY&CH tour. Not missing these, no way!
