Joss Whedon is still a hack, but my girlfriend and I enjoyed it. Not Crap.

Going to go see this later tonight. I've heard a lot of good things so far, so my expectations are pretty high at this point.

I'm going to see it Friday before someone gives it away. It's supposedly like an Eerie Publication comic that came to life.

Might go see it tomorrow based on good feeback from people I trust. Might see The Raid instead.

Everything else Joss Whedon has done is horrible, so my expectations are as low as possible.

I'm used to it by now. Apparently he's quite polarizing.

We got about 5 minutes in and looked at each other like 'let's go' but agreed to wait for the first death. By then, they flipped the script and had the hooks in. I guess I didn't really pay attention to the trailer. More of a stoner comedy. Not crap.

Bradley Whitford makes it. Having Josh Lyman as the guy running the thing was inspired.

My lady is irrationally scared by horror movies, but she had the quote of the night when she busted out "holy fucking unicorn!"

Not Crap, some of it was too dark too see, but it was pretty great. "I don't think it's awesome to be in the basement now".....

Watched Tourist Trap and The Atlas Moth after, that was a killer triple feature!

Without spoiling too much -

How are the lawsuits not flying over this movie?

I suppose. It's just so close on some things.

Wait, what would the lawsuits be over?

Saw it yesterday, thought it was great, especially the third act free for all.

So good. Theater was hooting and hollering. Best time at the movies in a long time.
