I wanna play guitar in a band that sounds like Dinosaur Jr meets Hot Snakes.

I don't think that I'll ever post on the "post while you are in love thread". Not depressed because of that or anything, everyday I get more and more used to it.

Correlation is not causation. However, it just hit me that the only people in my life who've hurt me in any significant way have been observant Christians.

Britney on the The X Factor judging panel-not happy about this. Pushing her behind the proxy controls for the fairytale myth smokescreen of the pop machine, which is probably going to kill her at some point down the line. Seems sad to me. Also, fuck this show and Simon Cowell.

Dear city of Hastings:

Let me get this straight. You have one way into town from Wisconsin. Just one. The nearest bridge is half an hour away in Red Wing. Then you decide to close one lane of this, the only bridge into town, during peak traffic hours. For two weeks.

Are you fucking stupid?

Have to go to court in a couple of days and all I'm stressing about is the Kings game tomorrow (which I know they'll own).

Also, I know this isn't the dream thread, but I've been having really strange alien abduction dreams lately, and not of the actual abduction themselves, it's always people I know (always in my house) or have met a couple of times telling me of nights when I've woken them up in their sleep and without words organized them into a line to be lead out wherever the aliens want them to go. These dreams happen often. The only time I have ever caught a glimpse of what it is that controls me in the dream, is a exceptionally tall, slender black mass that I can never really focus on...or am maybe to scared to look directly at it.

I do this subconsciously and sometimes cry in these dreams because I know what's happening and other's do not. I don't wake up scared, concerned, or frightened by them anymore...I just wake up tired, like I got no sleep at all.

It's a little concerning from time to time.

Anyways, I've been eating healthier and it's awesome. I like having these routines down. The predictability can be comforting sometimes.

Calling into a conference call: Music on hold is Glenn Gould's recording of Bach's Two-Part Inventions.

"Please put me back on 'hold'"

Much better than one of my company's regular vendors, whose hold music is a 90-second loop of a Muzak rendition of Chicago's "If You Leave Me Now," and has been for the past 6 years.

Architects tend to have better than average music on hold.

My favorite is Extron's support line music on hold. It's this horrid new age-y shit apparently mean to calm frazzled nerves. "I know you're pissed off at us because our stuff isn't working for you and now you're stuck on hold. Please take these few moments to mellow out and pretend you're getting a hot rock massage and acupuncture before you let loose on us..."

I make this music.
I also make pictures that you can buy. Feel free to look at my records for sale.

Best hold music I ever heard was "Sex Machine." The whole thing. One of the first days on my job as a telephone interviewer for a survey center. Luck like that only comes once in a lifetime.

I'm in the kitchen, and just put some random CD with mp's on, Fuck Buttons' 'Tarot Sport' turns out to be perfect cooking music.

I come from a family of very attractive people. Why the fuck do I have to be the exception to the rule?

I blame dad.

He's the sole X-factor. If I ever meet him, I'm going to kick him in the balls.

Fucking defective genes. Fuck you, DNA!
