Ditto to all of the above. I've been consistently amazed by how well they've been playing - they've made every game fun to watch (unlike any game involving the Rangers/Devils) and simply been the better team in every series.

Really enjoying watching them. It's a beautiful thing.

If there's one indicator of playoff success, it's health. I can't think of any cup winning team in recent history that wasn't relatively healthy in comparison to the other teams.

LA had a shitty regular season, but they have a lot more talent than Phoenix. Losing Raffi Torres also didn't help. Just think about what mayhem he would have caused in the last round. He's probably their biggest physical player, which is saying a lot with Doan on the same team.

As far as the rangers/devils series, I have said all my life, NHL playoffs is solely an endurance run to the Cup. The Kings have been coasting to it..

Goddamn this Eastern series is gonna get personal real quick for die hard fans of either team. Tied up, back to the garden for game five....I seriously wouldn't be surprised if someone involved in the series dies before a winner is announced.

Great fun to watch these teams battle it out. Hopefully the 'scrotes will finally kiss the Cup goodbye tomorrow when the Kings regroup.

For you Americans without cable, tonight's game is on NBC. Yes, just regular NBC, home of 30 Rock and Community.

So, even if the Kings win tonight, there's no way I can beat ERAWK. She beats me again. ARRRGGGHHH.

I hope there's some cash for second place.

Dustin Brown is on fire and Marty is looking 40something.

I think the people ballsy enough to pick the Devils can't catch up either.

Kopitar looked winded there for a second, but he got it back. I'm just happy Dustin picked up the pace for game 6. Carter and Quick are the two obvious winners/leaders of this last series (Quick has been great through out all series).

I can't fucking believe it. Tonight is insanely special to me.

LA KINGS ARE FUCKING STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS.

Dustin is the second American born team captain to hoist the Cup, and I couldn't be more proud.

and now we have to deal with a potential lockout.

everything i'm reading says that the owners are already planning on locking the players out until january - similar to what the NBA did this past year.

this is a horrrrrrrrrrrrrrible idea.

congrats to the Kings. super happy for Colin Fraser and Darryl Sutter - that team was rolling four lines of thunder for the entire playoffs and played such a solid style they absolutely deserved it.
