The staff weren't giving me the things I needed to do my job effectively and give the kids their money's worth...it wasn't too hard considering the concert was only $5

wow the one day i don't look at this thing i forget my anniversary with myself.

omg guys i forgot it's my anniversary! I better get some ... i already have flowers. what should I get?
right now I want...
I want a chess board of underwater pieces, prawns for pawns and sea horses as those horses and sea lions to be kings of the sea jungle. the queens can be mermaid barbies with ocean pearls or something. oh and not black and white but liek rainbow fish scales. and folks can move around as they please. and it's gotta be waterproof so I can go find Philip glasses Einstein ass on the beach and challenge him to a sea game of wits and rock out beach jam.

id prob move a pawn and then go jump in the ocean for a whole album of counting and madness and once I'm ticketed out I'm sure he will have finished an album and his turn and ill move my pawn again and c'est la vie, he can win and the prize at the end of my underwater chess is the heart of the ocean from titanic and then he can wear it and we'll start a surf pink band and crash jimmy buffets. margaritaville and teach those people whT hving a good time is and not what it's just supposed to look like.

I missed my 10 years by a few months.

Probably lurked for 2 years or so prior to joining.

A+, will continue for the next 10 years.

Only caveat is that without this web site I probably would not have spent thousands of dollars on aluminum guitars. Ah well. Live and learn.

Cheers!

Huh. Weird. I missed my ten years by a year. I also lurked prior and mostly continue to lurk. Y'all smart.

Hit ten years a few weeks back.

Found this place at a critical point in my life through a MusicThing blogpost about an AMA FM Steve had done on a poker site and funny as it may seem you lot have done loads from a distance ever since to make my life, everyday life and creative life, bearable, enjoyable and above all sustainable.

Thanks a lot EA boards, thanks a lot Russ, thanks a ton FM Steve.

Ether hugs,

Jimmy

Learned an absolute ton here about all manner of things. I should've read/lurked more and made fewer dumb posts.

The only posts I've made are dumb. Like this one: I thought you had to count the join date as the start of year 0?

By the way, we're a few months away from creating the "I'm here 15 years" thread.
I used to play guitar for Elma and Buistra, and bass for Are You God?.

Silk and linen are the traditional 12 year gifts. Perhaps you should look in the "What would you name your experimental John Cage Silence band" thread. I think Silk And Linen is in there.
