My brother called me up the other day while he was drunk and thanked me for introducing him to Perfect from now on.

Again, not crap.

This metal sphere
Ten times the size of Jupiter
Floats just a few yards past the Earth

Hit it once every thousand years

To the size of a pea
Yeah, I'd say that's a long time
But it's only half a blink
In the place you're gonna be."

Some of my favourite lyrics of any song.

You might be aware that Built To Spill releases their new record "You In Reverse" on Tuesday.

However, you might not be aware that you can play a one-on-one game of basketball with Doug Martsch whenever you wish to do so.

That video game is b.s. He wouldn't even let me get a shot to the rim.

That record sounds...pretty good. Sonically and musically, even over the Internet and computer speakers.

I'm actually thinking I will have to buy it.

I thought the first song sounded Krautrock-like in the rhythm section stuff. Then I see one of the guys in Faust recorded it.

More Brett Netson, also, sounds like. Which is always good.

The cover looks very Treepeople-esque!

I'm looking forward to hearing BTS's new record. I was slightly disappointed w/ the last one and this seems like a return to form. 'Goin' Against Your Mind' is awesome.

NOT CRAP seeing them live the first time was incredible because doug martsch looks NOTHING like how he sounds. that was definitely an excellent experience, very surreal.

also NOT CRAP, seeing them the second time the total shock had not worn off at all. It was like a freak show seeing that face singing those songs. Awesome.

RE: the new record -- track 3 is killing me. I'm really happy with the record, too! A couple duds that don't really take off (I'm only on the third listen), but there sure are enough great tunes to make it worth my while. I'm happy about hearing all the rocket-engine sounding guitar fuzz stuff too.

NOT CRAP. NOT CRAP.

i fucking love this band. another reason why being english and having to live here is RUBBISH. they seme to tour all the time over there and extensively too.

at a gig i put on once, i was 'dj-ing' and just played the whole of keep it like a secret. both sides. no-one complained. people came to thank me cuz they hadn't heard it in ages if at all!

great lyrics, greater guitars, even greater lyrics.

I am going to buy the new album. Its sounds really good!

I thought the last one bit. But by the sounds of it, this new one will be a fine way to bring in spring and summer. And BTS is coming to my town.

Happy times!

I truly wish that there was a choice marked Crap to the infinite power. I liked 'Perfect From Now On' for about 2 hours. I got super high on marijuana and a friend turned that on. I was totally into 'Randy....' Then about an hour or so later, I wasnt so high anymore and I hit 'Play' again. This time, that whiny ass Doug's voice woulnt stop grating my ears and turning my auditory nerve into a tube of poo-poo. Quickly, I hit 'Stop' and then 'Eject' took that CD and threw it right at some hipster kids over on Brady and Humboldt. I really don't like that "music."
Word to your mother.
Nothing. Sorry.

The voice is what makes or breaks it. I've come across a couple of people who can't stand it. I dig it!
