This has sat here for more than a year without a "ridged for HER pleasure" joke?

For shame.

Check into Hennepin Tech. The Eden Prairie campus has a good program and studios. If you're into that sort of thing.

I've been at IPR several times over the past year or so, talking to Eddie Ciletti who has serviced some of our microphones. He knows his stuff quite well and is a pleasure to deal with.

The Art Institute was probably a mistake, but I wanted to stay in Chicago.

A.A. in Funeral Service Education from Milwaukee Area Technical College-West in 1999. And not that it's made me a dime extra in my career, but I was first in class and busted my ass to make it so, mainly because I had never applied myself in school (H.S. GPA: 1.6) and wanted to do it just the once.

I go to school at SUNY Purchase College, currently a freshman enrolled in the Studio Producion major (B.M.). It's got an awesome recording program and its recording program is under the conservatory of music which is awesome. The teachers are amazing and you can gain studio access freshman year and use it as often as you like since the program is small (my grade is about 12 people, the program is about 40), its not that hard to book time.

Wayne State University, BS in Mathematics.

I like that place a lot, engineering and math departments are actually very good and you can learn a lot at a price almost anyone can afford.

went to School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I took probably over half the courses they had in the Sound department in the late 90s. the best was when Steve had a talk with our class, and the debate that ensued between him and my teacher Robb Drinkwater was both very informative and greatly entertaining. I'm not sure how the Sound program is there at this point in time, but I really miss those classes.
