Indeed.

I love Yes but I guess I could understand if someone didn't get it, like maybe they never played D&D or something.

I would point them to these tracks and say, "excuse me, would you like to hear the greatest post-rock drum/bass band ever?"

Edited to say if I ever get Ric and my band implodes I know how my PRF band personal ad will read.

The best Yes solo lp was Chris Squire's - better tunes, and he had Bill drum on the whole thing.

Hi=Fi nerd alert - The Yes Fragile "One Step" MFSL 2x45 12" is killer.

Bruford's autobiography gave me the impression he hated Squire's guts. So much for chemistry.

Before he retired, Bill said he'd never join Yes ever again, maybe King Crimson, but not Yes. Chris Squire was late for everything. That pissed off Bill. But the playing on Fish Out Of Water sounds like two brothers that had a fight, then started talking to each other again.
