Yesterday was the last day for pre-orders. Last time Jon mentioned it I don't think it's expected to ship until September or sometime in the fall.

Not speaking for Jon, but September seems about right. I've been told that all the pieces/inserts/goodies will be in place around July/August.

ALLOW ME TO SPEAK FOR JON!

Records being pressed in July. Everything else is on target to be done prior.

Shirt order being finalized in another window.

Two proofs left to approve, hopefully before the end of the day.

Likely "street date" in September with those who pre-ordered hopefully being rewarded at least a month prior (barring unforeseen delays).

ALSO:

If your name is Steve K., you live in Australia and you ordered a SKWM shirt after being referred from this web page on April 24th, could you PLEASE write me with a shirt size?

Otherwise you're getting a "Large" as repeated emails have gone unanswered...

Also close but no cigar, the best Andy song is "cockfight of feelings"

Cohen fucking kills it all over Italian Platinum though, really

"Lily White and Cherry Red" is such a great fucking song. It's just stuffed with imagery.

I'm looking forward to the Libertine reissue.
I don't need the people of Athens any more than I need another hole in my head. I've got five already, thank you very much.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if I should be waiting yet, I've got a bunch of packages in limbo right now.

Damn, Tim's gotta feel this love!

I really need to take the dive into the SKWM (I don't know who coined that version of the name but I like it) discography.

I know I've asked this before but I'm an alcoholic so my memory isn't so great these days, but what is the quintessential Silkworm album? And I don't mean the best Silkworm album to start with, I mean the best that you think they have ever made if you had to choose one.

My favorite SKWM album is whichever one I am listen to at the moment.

This week the best SKWM album is It'll Be Cool. Last week it was Developer and Lifestyle the week prior.

They are all great, Anthony!

Word! Thanks man! I'll check these out tomorrow. Seeing as I'm not getting drug tested for my new job, I'll be getting high and listening very soon here.

All caveats about how every SKWM record is perfect and amazing in it's own way aside, really, it's probably Firewater

You want to start with Firewater. I think you'd appreciate the first line in the first song.

For me it's Libertine, though the most popular answer is Firewater, which is probably the better album all things considered. The earlier albums, especially Libertine and In The West, are more open and abrasive and often darker. The later ones, like Lifestyle, are more chilled, though they still ROCK.

Firewater is the record that just does it for me.

Cannibal Cannibal should be on every barroom jukebox.

Caricature Of A Joke should be on every desert island mixtape.

I posted something The Twitter recently to the effect of "If a bar wants my business all they need to have is Silkworm on the jukebox". Especially Italian Platinum.
