Centuries from now, there will be odes to Christina Hendricks. A woman so beautiful even the bots came to love her.

Never mind that those bots are foreign-born. And writing from jail.

Yes, she, objectively speaking, has a very pretty face. But something about her whole bustin'-out-all-over-the-place m.o. is just too much for me.

I do realize that this verges dangerously close to engaging in celebrity-crush-thread territory, but I tend to like my sexuality a bit more subtle. Canadian actress Molly Parker, for example. (Of course, now some smartass will inevitably post a comment accompanying pics from that lousy Wayne Wang movie in which she played a stripper.)

Last week's episode was great. I think this whole season is pretty great so far actually.

Yes, last week's episode was pretty intense. I liked the final scene when everyone was sitting at the table, freaked out.

As much as I've enjoyed Roger as a character, I'm really interested to see where post-LSD Roger ends up going.

I gave up after season three, but I really liked Roger. You telling me he dropped acid? I may have to revisit.

I actually think seasons 4 & 5 have been the best.

I think I preferred the 90's. Back then everyone watched the show when it aired and then talked about it the next day.

Amazing episode last night, I just wish I could talk about it with someone.

I'm not the show's biggest fan but, it was a pretty interesting turn.

I totally called that Don would let Glenn drive the car.

As an aside, it's cool how into alt comedy Jon Hamm is off the show. I heard him on a bunch of comedy podcasts long before I got around to seeing the show. His own comedic sensibilities are really nothing like Draper's.

I feel like I could predict every major incident that happened in last night's episode. That made me feel disappointed, for some reason.

I called the two (I felt) major incidents. From early on in the season it felt like someone would *SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS*

that someone would off themself before the end of the season, the foreshadowing was pretty strong; at first it seemed like it would be Roger, but then he had his acid trip and somewhat got his mojo back, then it seemed like Pete after Lane kicked the shit out of him (which was awesome) and his life was spiraling out of control, but in the past 2 episodes it became more obvious it would be Layne. Which is sad because I liked him. edit- also great irony how the Jaguar didn't work on his first attempt. The other one I called was Sally getting her period at the museum, though for some reason I thought she had gotten it in an earlier episode, until I remembered that no, she masturbated, not menstruated. The only thing that seemed like it would happen but didn't is I assumed that Joan's husband would get killed off in Vietnam, but maybe that's too obvious a plotline.

Overall I think this has been one of the best seasons.

SPOILERS:

The little tidbit with Lane breaking his glasses before trying to kill himself in the Jag was MASTERFUL. I could relate to that on a cellular level. Not the suicidal impulses, but the "no turning back now" frame of mind. He broke his fucking glasses! Holy shit.

This is a great season. I'm actively, actually hoping Don doesn't fuck it all up. Like a goddamned soap opera.

HOLY SHIT

I didn't realize that was Linda Cardellini playing the neighbor until John Hamm mentioned it offhandedly on the Daily Show rerun I was just watching. I am very surprised I did not realize this yet due to the pathetic fantasy world torch I still hold for Lindsay Weir.

Stay away from my woman, Don Draper!

I had almost the exact same reaction when I saw that last night.
