The liner notes mention that this could be the "first" in the series of other No Trend releases - I'm not holding my breath, but it would certainly be welcomed.

Thanks so much for the shout-out and also for procuring the thing. I'm quite proud of it. Will be very curious to hear what other people think of it.

Myself and two former members of the band (no, not Jeff or Bob) are tentatively scheduled to do an interview about the box in June, on WFMU. There will hopefully be some forthcoming press, as well.

In terms of future volumes, let's see how the first one is received and also if Drag City wants us to do a follow-up. There's certainly plenty of worthy unreleased material and some good stories for future volumes. At least two of them (A Dozen Dead Roses+the exclusive tracks from When Death Won't Solve Your Problem+numerous unreleased demos; Nash-Vegas+More+subsequent recordings).

That said, the first in the series took nearly a decade to get together and might have shaved a few years off our lives... So it's still very much TBD. But it's certainly possible.

Hell just froze over. No Trend reissue on the cover of The Washington Post's arts and style section. Great piece about the band, written by a former member of Q and Not U.

That IS a great article.

Not the Val Kilmer one, thank goodness.

Live at 9am on Friday, June 5, a special about the No Trend box (featuring music and interviews w/two ex-members and myself) will air on WFMU. Via John Allen's excellent "JA in the AM" show.

Stream in real time or after the fact at the archive here:

https://wfmu.org/playlists/JA

Listen live:

http://wfmu.org/wfmu.pls

Or do it the old fashioned way:

91.1 and 91.9FM in New Jersey and New York City, and at 90.1 and 91.9FM in the Hudson Valley

This was a great listen. The 70s porno polka funk discussion was amazing. Why won't my boxset arrive!?

Thanks for listening and thanks for the praise. Glad it was entertaining! We had a great time.

Thanks even more for buying one. USPS, particularly in NYC, was a bloody mess there for a few weeks. (It took two weeks for my apartment maintenance bill to show up. Was sent from just up the street.)

Has it been terribly long? Did Drag City give you a tracking #? Have you tried emailing their customer service?

I don't think Drag City does tracking. Yeah, USPS has been backIogged and I understand. It's a rough time. I don't mean to sound impatient, I'm just excited to get it-one of the few things in the world I'm looking forward to right now. It hasn't even been that long-they sent me a shipping notification on the 27th or whatever the release date was. And with that I got a download code so it's isn't like I can't listen to it if I want, I'd just rather wait for the physical thing.

Speak of the devil, it arrived today. Outstanding. Worth the wait. I was expecting something special and it exceeded those expectations. Really an incredible artifact. You should be proud of the document you put together, FM OrthodoxEaster.

Hey, I'm so glad. Was gonna offer to email my contact at Drag City on your behalf if it didn't show by the end of next week.

Appreciate the kind words. Thank you, yet again. It was grueling and full of obstacles. (It would not be No Trend if it weren't.) And we were fairly meticulous about it. That said, all parties involved seem incredibly pleased.

Nice new interview features w/myself and a handful of ex-members this week in Tidal and at the Vinyl District.
