I haven't even begun to touch the tip of the iceberg in regards to his collection of work, but stuff he's done that I like, I really like. There's some stuff he's done that I could care less for. I saw him on Inside the Actor's Studio not too long ago. I'm glad I did. Not only is he totally down to earth, intellegent, clever, and an engaging actor, he's also a muscian (something I did not know) and did the composition for Million Dollar Baby. Very, very cool. The man is a true artist, a huge asset to the film industry, and I think some of his best work lies ahead of him. Not Crap.
Some of my favorites:

Dirty Harry
Two Mules for Sister Sara
The Outlaw Josey Wales
Escape from Alcatraz
High Plains Drifter
Pale Rider
Unforgiven
A Perfect World
Mystic River
Million Dollar Baby

Clint's the man- I liked Million Dollar Baby the least of what he's done recently, but he's still on top of it. Not Crap.

NC for Thunderbolt and Lightfoot and Bronco Billy. I like Josey Wales less with each viewing, which stinks.

As a director, blah. Play Misty For Me has some really cool cinematography, but the film is pretty stupid. He made this cool flick called Breezy with William Holden, and it is terrific.

What about Dirty Harry?

The second film Magnum Force is actually pretty good in a non-ironic way!

A perfect world is a fantastic film.

It has fucking Kevin Costner in it and it's STILL good. That is saying something.

It makes me cry like a baby at the end.

Sorry, pedestrian CRAP for the most part. I hate his clunky heavy handed directing style. Waffles for a handful of watchable acting roles even though he can't act for shit.

Space Cowboys was one of the shittiest big budget movies ever made. Unforgiven was mediocrity at best and I had to stop my self laughing at the Munny character; what a cliche.

A Perfect World was kind of ok surprisingly.

Just watch the the truly awful Absolute Power to see what a terrible director of suspense he is.

The Leone films are ok but not because of Clint. All credit goes to Leone. Clint is about as exciting to watch as a piece of cardboard.

Mystic River was as contrived nonsense as I've ever seen.

So not always that bad but I'll say CRAP anyway due to the large volume of truly awful to mediocre stuff.

I would blame the screenplay for that, it was one of the worst adaptations of a book I've ever read.

Letters From Iwo Jima is good, A Perfect World is good, Unforgiven is good.. nothing great though.. hmm, I guess not crap.

I like Clint Eastwood as an actor a lot of the time but don't love many of his movies with the exception of Breezy. Breezy is a gem of a film.

Kay Lenz shoulda been a star I tell ya!

Roger C. Carmel is one of my all time favorite character actors, what a freak.
