for the purposes of this poll let's try to stick with the band that has Michael Hutchence in it. The band that looks like this:

Had serious arguments about INXS vs. The Alarm decades ago. Always liked INXS more than The Alarm.

Good couple records, nice cover of George Young's 'Good Times' on the LOST BOYS soundtrack.

Not Swamp.

Not crap.

i have to say NOT CRAP as the band projected Michael Hutchence to fame thereby leading to his relationship with Paula Yates which got her to spend less time in the UK with her annoying voice and for that i will be eternally grateful.

Muriel Gray was far cooler.

INXS to stop touring after 35 years.

Drummer Jon Farriss told fans at a concert at Perth Arena with Matchbox Twenty on Sunday night that it would be their last.

"We understand that this must come as a blow to everybody, but all things must eventually come to an end," he said in a statement released on Tuesday.

Yeah, a real blow alright.

They had some okay 80's pop stuff, and Hutchence's appearance in "Dogs In Space" is almost redeeming.

Don't want to kick a dead dog. Calling it quits while supporting Matchbox 20 has to be the lowest point a band could possibly fall to.

Godawful. In the opposite direction: as telling of musical wherewithall as Fleetwood Mac is.
"In some way, perhaps it is the uncool things that we like despite ourselves, that makes us unique. People take a lot of crap here for owing up to their lapses in accepted good taste, but I intend to celebrate it." -Anthony Flack

Anytime INXS comes on the radio at work, I start making really loud choking sounds. Only one of my bakers gets the joke, but, her and I laugh our asses off about it.

I'll bet they're repeating it to themselves like a mantra. Maybe while they hold hands.
