Just saw them last night. Fucking amazing set. Didn't really care for Paint it Black or the opening local bands, but holy shitballs Propagandhi tore that shit up. If you get a chance and are even halfway interested in seeing them, do it - they do not disappoint.

As a side note, I was up by the stage while their sound guy was setting shit up and he personally went up to all the bouncers and talked to them about handling the crowd in a way that doesn't stop them from having fun. This place is notorious for strongarming the kids crowdsurfing, etc. I was really happy when the bouncers started helping kids crowdsurf. What an awesome night.

Haha, yeah I talked to Todd after, last time they were here I took him and Chris out to dinner at this vegan-health-food-store-with-a-deli kind of place. Really nice guys. If you were that close to the stage I was probably right behind you. I was the guy who kept pre-emptively apologizing to bigger dudes in front of me. I always do that. "Hey man, just so you know I'm probably gonna get slammed the fuck into you. Neither of us really wants that to happen but I'll try not to crush you." That shit has saved me so many angry elbows to the gut it's ridiculous.

They played with Paint It Black.

As much as I love Dan Yemin and the whole Paint It Black band,

Propagandhi owns harder.

Supporting Caste is one of the obviously greatest achievements this year. I'm seeing them twice in the coming months and I can't fucking wait.

It's been about four to five years since the last time I saw 'em.

1 million percent NC, zero waffles. supporting caste is such a good fucking record.

i dont really think you can make a judgement on this band nowadays with anything pre-todays empires. they are almost a different band since todd joined, also much more intelligent/mature as far as lyrics go.
Has anyone really been far as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Propagandhi make a mixtape on the occasion of UK tour, with a YouTube link for each track

First track:
Chris Hannah
Black Sabbath - 'A National Acrobat': I'll keep my selections British. Punk rockers don't like Black Sabbath, but that's because punk rockers are morons.

bump.

Small Man Records called it a day so Propagandhi is looking for a new label to release another amazing record on.

Their recording at the end of this year, they've got seven new songs that I can't wait to hear.

Weird. After over-listening to this album more than once, just yesterday (Friday) I listened to this song like 6 times in a row. The first three tracks on Supporting Caste are unbeatable, and then Don Cherry bellows in your ear.

I don't listen to anything before TETA. Took them a while to develop the chops to draw on all the speed metal they grew up on.

Same here. Todd was and is a way better fit for the band. I get the feeling John K. Samson kind of prevented them from playing the thrash they all grew up listening to.

I remember getting to sing "Fuck The Border" with them the first and last time they played Vegas. We smoked a couple joints and drank some beers with Jord afterwards. Dude's a huge Big Black fan. All really nice, genuinely funny dudes.

The edition of Beaver is a great fit too. I really like his other band Giant Sons.

In my head, the Beave always reminded me of this dude:

But like you said, the only records of theirs I own on vinyl are Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes, Potemkin City Limits, and Supporting Caste.

Can't wait for the day I get to bring home the new record. They're one of the few bands I would actually geek out, wait in line for however long until a shop is able to sell it to me.
