People have been listening to it for ten years already. I don't see another ten being too much of a problem.

Yea - dancing is great. It's Daft Punk that I don't like.

I was sold literally four seconds into that video.

Not Crap by a huge margin.

they are playing to crowds of bazillions, and yet that pic says they use behringer midi controllers.

I would say forget about the video (although I like it a lot); the song Da Funk alone is a guarantee of immortality. If AC/DC were a French dance band they would make something similar to Da Funk.

Transcendental in it's simplicity.

This is an excellent summing up which I agree with entirely. This has encouraged me to put on Homework now; even on a rubbish little computer speaker it sounds great.

I thought the same thing.
I used to have one of those BCF2000s and I thought it was good for home use, good for the money, but I was frightened to take it to a gig.
Maybe they have a large Pez dispenser that spits another one out, pronto, when one fails.

That video was pretty amazing.
Take THAT, Gary Numan.

Uhhh, these posh French guys have been peddling this stuff for over ten years and it's stale and not nearly as exciting as it used to be?
Hey, good luck to them, but this 'what, you don't enjoy a party?' argument is fucking stupid. I love parties. I love dance music. Daft Punk, these days, are an arena-rock parody of an interesting act.

CRAP

Did anyone else hear this playing after the Giants won last night and hit mute immediately?

This song has recently caught up to the frat/sorority crowd down here. I once walked by three consecutive bars that were all playing this song at the same time, but each bar had it playing at a different spot in the song. Since the song is horribly repetitive, it was almost like the bars were doing a round of danceable shit fest. It was what I imagine hell's equivalent to "Row Your Boat" to be.
Here comes the pissball, shithead - get ready!

This group needs to be lit on fire and have their remains fed to wild dogs.

Even I have to admit that "Around The World" has a great bass line, though.
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.

In the someday, what's that sound.

I for one, love to celebrate for being so free. NOT CRAP.

I still carry around my "Daft Club" card which came with the first run of Discovery in my wallet.
