First time poller...er....so to speak.
P-funk - Crap or Not Crap?

Edit: Having read the rules when straight, I've realised I must append my vote of Not Crap.

Eh, zeroth time poller. I think you can add one though - give it a shot!
Why do you make it so scary to post here.

Can't believe this is a poll...

Parilament is not crap...even at their weakest they still had Osmium and Funkentellechy Vs. The Placebo Syndrome in their arsenal.

Funkadelic only began to fall off after "Electric Spanking Of War Babies" and "Tales Of Kidd Funkadelic." Still not crap.

Mother Earth is pregnant for the third time..for y'all have knocked her up. I have tasted the maggots in the mind of the universe - I was not offended, for I knew I had to rise above it all or drown in my ooooooown shit.

"According to legend, George Clinton told Eddie Hazel to play like his mother had just died, and the result was the twelve-minute guitar solo for which Hazel is most fondly remembered by many music critics and fans. Though several other musicians began the track playing, Clinton soon realized the power of Hazel's solo and faded them out so that the focus would be on Hazel's guitar. The entire track was recorded in one take."

Awesome stuff. 1 take, can you believe it?

Ah, and not crap.

My dad was at a concert and he was the only white guy there - ha, pretty funny. A lot of ignorant white folks missed out, eh?

I like to keep my Parliment and Funkadelic separate. Indeed Maggot Brain is absolute genius.

I played "Maggot Brain" for my class, and a young woman said, "This song is about Vietnam."
