Looks like the Bowl Ethereal demo is coming out as a 7" on Southern Lord, and also, Loincloth have started tracking a new album:

Loincloth are most certainly not crap. Iron Balls of Steel is superb. Def going to check out Bowl Ethereal.

Best if played with zero interruption between tracks:

Missed this the first time around, but that was pretty cool! Such an admirable level of thought and dedication goes into doing what they do. Funny (and not too surprising, when you realize there's not too much 'weird' music happening in this state) that it was filmed by the newer drummer of Polvo.

New album is great. A little less information overload than its predecessor. The last track, "Ibex," is a total mofo complete w/a hellish, lengthy drone outro. I will miss this band.

Thanks for the heads up about the new record! Have just ordered it and picked up a cheap copy of 'Iron Balls Of Steel' as well!
I wish they would re-release that first EP though - so great!

You need the four songs that made up the original demo. I think they were bonus tracks in the japanese version of the CD.
