someone posted something about "not having the songwriting chops" and that's basically it. Dance music is boring at some point, too. I like discovery quite a bit for pure sampling mastery.. NC with "waffles?" I don't get that but yeah... for discovery, NC, everything else. :-|

So over this fucking band. If you're looking for hardcore filtered disco house music then check out Quack from Duck Sauce. Seriously in the running with Todd Terje's It's Album Time for dance full-length album of the year.

Daft Punk is over; it's all about Duckology now.

Strange, I voted Not Crap. hmm. but Daft Punk is overall Crap.

Homework is the only thing I've heard that I like.

I'd immediately vote NC for the sentimental reason that this band was my gateway to music as a whole (that and Weird Al) but looking over their discography:

Everything Homework and before: NC. Some think it's repetitive but regardless it's great dance music and a prime example of house/disco house (someone who's more knowledgeable in house music may think this wrong).
Discovery: NC :WF: 8. Again, it's mostly nostalgia factoring in here, but there are some pretty great tracks in here, although cheese is pretty rampant. Interstellar is an awful movie though.
Human After All: Holy mother of whatever god you follow crap crap crap this is awful.
Tron: Legacy: Crap.
Random Access Memories: Crap :WF: 2. Most of it was cheesy and self-indulgent, but Get Lucky was a good track before it got burned out in everyone's heads.
Alive 2007: Not crap.

Eh, I'm still going with Not Crap ignoring the obvious downhill streak.

I have that too, with Underworld's 'Everything Everything'.

Daft Punk - dull. Easy C.

If only for Random Access Memories, NC, but I happen to like all the other albums also. I really like how all their albums sound, crispy, cold and cheesy.

I'm more of a fan of their big hits - One More Time, Da Funk, Get Lucky, etc - than their albums, which get boring after a while. The one exception is Alive 2007.

Thought it was amusing that they kept the whole robot getup going during the Grammys.
- "Whatever happened to that album?"
- "I broke it, remember? I threw it against the wall, and it like, shattered."
