SO awkward
I am so confused by this new feminism, and its so-called champions. What, am I not supposed to see the butt? Is that Carrie's butt?
Whose else butt would it be?
WHY?
That I don't know.
To get a confused reaction?

At least 3 of the songs are totally about front butt on the new record.

The last two pages got me all...

What's worse...

Thinking of that tune, it dawned on me that I was all wrong about Ghost BC ripping of Kansas in the "Ghost BC" C/NC thread. They are just one big "Chill Suicidal Tendencies Tunes" ripoff.

Now, I'm starting to feel like I know how Conan felt when he was praying to Crom at the end of the damn movie.

What a mess.

St. Vincent produces new record...Carrie Brownstein shows front butt...Janet Weiss quits band.

Looking into it a bit more it appears St. Vincent effectively ruined this band. I like her alright, but the "Enosification" style effect she has had on them is readily apparent in both their imagery and their sound...really weird:

Also, I think that's St. Vincent's butt. She has taken to showing it off in recent years...

I'm glad that "front butt" is now a thing.

The Fallon performance was really awkward, I watched the "Jumpers" Letterman video right after that and the contrast is stark.

Is her butt really in the front like that in real life? Is this common?

Mine's in the back but I'm kind of a goofy boy.

From what people are saying, it seems she put her butt all over the S/K album and brand.

Front bums notwithstanding I heard the single on the radio this morning and I like it quite a bit. But I like St. Vincent and Sleater Kinney and it sounds exactly like if St Vincent produced Sleater Kinney so there you go.
Last album was very good as well.

You can tell by how they collaged it that it's indeed Brownstein butt.
You can see it in the hair. That little bit is the same as the Frontal
Brownstein. She's too vain to use another person for front butt action anyway.

They are finally getting interesting, but I'll need to take another 20 years or so for reassessment.

I find this level of front butt scrutiny very amusing. The band mates look sooo uncomfortable.

I only listened to the Tonight Show song and it sounded and looked like a St. Vincent cover band, and I like St. Vincent, but it's a bummer that she completely imprinted her music and style on them.

Starting to settle in that a once truly ferocious band is just gonna do this now. Whatever THIS is.

It's like a heel turn or something.

Can't stand this song.

Maybe it's the Hounds of Love hooting but I didn't hate that. And the other single is far better on record than that stiff Fallon performance.

They should have just called this project Brownstein & Clark, though.

I feel like the lyric videos aren’t helping their case. Some crappy lyrics man.

I think I like Sleater-Kinney now. Is this what one would call "jumping on the bandwagon"? Will S-K purists sneer in derision deeming me a poseur, what with my infinite swag and dog-eared copies of Alternative Press? Waxing nostalgic for the halcyon days of Kennedy and Afrocentric hip hop.
